Pops gave Laim a football and a soccer ball. He loves to play with them. He is getting closer to sitting and crawling so we used them to work on those skills. I have a feeling he will be playing with those for a long time to come.

A day at the park
Rice Cereal attempts 1 and 2
Liam isn't so fond of rice cereal, but we'll keep trying. He has also tried bananas with the cereal. I thought that might sweeten it up for him. Nope he wasn't crazy about that either. He doesn't fuss, he just closes his mouth. I think he is probably full. He'll love it soon enough! In the mean time here are some funny pictures...
Another awesome bib! Messy but oh so cute!

Yehaw! Our day at the Stockyards.
This Saturday we went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards to see the Stock show. We had so much fun and really made a day of it. We stayed to watch the rodeo. I have never seen such mean bulls! only 3 cowboys stayed on for 8 sec. There were some crazy ones. Thanks for inviting us Oma and Pops! Here is our day in pictures:
They were all dressed up in western gear.

YEEEHAW!
a little big.
Trying on hats. We are in the children's section. Yes , it fits me. no it doesn't fit Will!
This one is more Liam's size.
A little small for me... amazing isn't it.

Pops and I in front of the sarsaparilla saloon, we went in and grabbed a sarsaparilla (Root Beer)
Refreshing
Waiting for the Longhorns to be herded down the street.
Liam wanted to try the Root Beer
This one was HUGE!
I rode the mechanical Bull... more than 8 Sec.

Here is my video:
I'm gonna be a Cowgirl baby...Sorry it is side ways!

My rodeo wound. I must be a pansy, because I can't even imagine being a real cowboy and being stomped on and bucked in the chest. The cut didn't hurt as bad as my left hand that I had managed to sit on while bouncing around on the bull. It was numb and tingly.
We caught the Shuttle to the Stock show to see the animals
Oma and Pops on the Shuttle
In the Dairy barn Will found a friend. A bull mooed at us when we came around the corner. "Hey someone pay attention to me." He was very friendly.

So friendly in fact that he gave Will a real Cowlick!

GROSS!
Moo cows!
check out this cow's tail. It is like my hair on our honeymoon... frizz!
This cow was from a dairy in Plano. Did you know there was a dairy in Plano?
TXU had one of those wheels you spin to win some little thing, magnet, pen, etc. Will and I noticed there was a band-aid dispenser on the wheel . He decided to win one for my rodeo wound. He spun and actually hit it. He didn't have to stop it early!
MY HERO!

All better!

They had tons of pigions, I had never seen a pigion like this. He is the winner.
Liam meets a goat,
And little piggies!
The last shuttle left at 6:40. We were eating dinner 3 minutes before about 1/4 mile away from where the shuddle was. We booked it and made it to the bus just in time. 6:40 on the dot!
Liam thought the run to the bus was fun!
Pops and Will lifting Liam up into the Rodeo stands.
"I'm proud to be an american"
When we came in they had a tractor lit up. It was very artsy in a country sort of way.

Eat your feet and make a fort
Eat your feet and make a fort. That is what little boys do, so I have been told. Okay I will admit that I used to do the latter. Forts are just fun no matter who you are. Liam is now rolling and he has recently rolled himself into some awesome situations. The other day went to go grab something in the other room and when I came back he was under his crib. He had this cute expression on his face. "Look, Mommy, it's a fort!" Now he rolls that way when ever we play in his room. It is his new favorite spot. Last night I had put his new zoo toy under there while we weren't playing with it. He Rolled on over and started it up.
Just like any boy he as also found his feet. They must taste super yummy because they go right up to the mouth every time.

My Birthday was Thursday, Will, Liam and my family made sure it was a great one! Mom and Nicole took me to Tin Star for lunch and then we ate at a new burger joint called the counter for dinner. It is at the Legacy Town Center. You can put all sorts of crazy stuff on your burger. Thanks to everyone for making my birthday so fun! I Love you all!

Highlights
Giving meds to a 4 month old
At Liam's 4 month check up the Doctor told me that Liam had a bit of an ear infection. He wrote a prescription for Amoxicillin. For all those who don't remember let me refresh your memory, because we have ALL had it. Pink... Thick... Bubble gum flavored! You remember now? Well Liam decided he didn't like bubble gum flavor. He wouldn't fuss or cry he would just purse his lips and flat our refuse the medicine. Giving medicine to a 4 month old is a messy job. Check it out, it is all over his nose. Although I have to give some props to Pops who did a great job getting it down the other day. Liam will do anything for Pops though.
Play time
Thanks Aunt Jeni

Liam's dedication at The Heights
December 21, 2008 Will and I dedicated ourselves to raising Liam in the Lord. We had a great time and are thankful to everyone who made it. For all of you out of town-ers, thank you for your prayers. Here are some pictures and the videos we took. We wish that everyone could have been there. Love you all,
Jenny and Will
Liam meets Gary

Chatting with pastor before the service
We had lots of family and friends come and join us at Church. They saved us seats.
Pennie was out of town, welcoming her new grand baby, so Robbie escorted us to were we were supposed to go. Robbie is the Heights' Children's minister and went with us to Germany last year.

waiting to go up. see all our family behind us?
Gary introduces us.

Will hands off Liam

Our pastor Dr. Gary Singleton held Liam and prayed for us as a couple as we commit to raise Liam in a God honoring way. We prayed for Liam's salvation and for our family.

ICE at the Gaylord Texan
While GG was visiting us in Dallas, Oma and Pops treated us to a fun evening at the ICE exibit at the Gaylord Texan. Everything is made of Ice. They had beautiful Christmas Sculptures, and fun interactive art you could walk through. It was 9 degrees in the exhibit so we all bundled up and headed in to check it all out. We were a bit worried about Liam but besides not liking the bundling at first he did great. He fell asleep while we were walking through, I guess because it was so dark under the stroller canopy, and then woke up smiling when we were finished. Here are some amazing pictures of the evening. Thanks Oma and Pops we had a blast.
The First thing you walk through was this beautiful ice tunnel with lights behind it. It reminded me of that hotel that is in the side of a glacier. Just like an igloo. Check out the video.
