We've moved.... again

Louisville bound

So we headed off with our 16 foot budget truck, holding everythng we own, in the drizzling rain. There was a Beautiful rainbow on the way out of the metroplex and the sunset was gorgeous. I think the holy spirit knew I needed some peace. So he provided. God is sovereign.

We traveled through Arkansas and Tennessee the first night and then into Kentucky on Friday. The trip was fortunately uneventful. Holly and I jammed out to Abby's rockin driving compilation, Disc 1,2 and 3. (Thanks girl, your the best.) Then we found the old spring show CD. aren't we cool. Will and Clint discussed the problems of the world in depth as they didn't have a CD player. Holly and Clint we're troopers helping us stay awake. We finally rolled into Memphis around 2:00 am. Holly and I listened to " Walking in Memphis" all the way in to the city. We know all the words know, and thanks to Clint we know that when you walk in Memphis your feet are ten feet off the Beale (a street). We stayed at a hotel on Union avenue which was ironic.

Side note which we all thought was funny was that we stopped to buy gas at Christmasville and then shortly after saw a billboard for Holiday World in Santa Clause, ID. Will and I will have to visit. We asked Barrett about it later and he said that it is a theme park. He always thought if was a funny concept. We all imagined the nativity ride, with three big loops each names gold, frankincense and myrrh. Or a super roller coaster name flight to Egypt.)

The next day as we reached Louisville it started to sprinkle, then morphed into thin sheets of rain. Off and on the rains continued through the whole day as we unpacked, fortunately it wasn't a torrential down pour our stuff was wet but not drenched.

The Apartment manager showed us our apartment where we encountered a few surprises but we'll tell you more about that later.
