Birthday Lunch

For my birthday Oma and Nicole and Wes came over for Lunch while Liam was taking his nap. Mom brought some yummy  chicken salad and a beautiful fruit, moose chocolate cup thing. When Liam woke up he was extatic that Wes was here. They played with all of Liam's toys. It was a great afternoon!

Checkin out the candle

Two of a kind!

Thanks for my Birthday Lunch! I had a great time.

Quack Quack or Quughughqugh?

Liam has a new duck sound. He has had fun lately discoving the new noises he can make with his mouth. He truely is a boy. It is amazing, I am learning that boys have a God given talent to make sound effects.  I think he must have heard Donold duck or something because he will be playing along and then out comes his duck noise. I tried to get his face while he does it. Sometimes he does it so long he makes him self cough. It makes me laugh, so I thought I would share...

Cereal

Jeni used to make fun of me at the work because if I was hungry I would eat cereal. It was easy and we always had milk around at the Gardner School. Plus when I was pregnant it was the only thing that sounded good. I had it all the time. In the mornings Liam likes to try my cereal and the other day for snack hewanted his own cereal bowl. Like mother like son...

Ladies day at High Tea

Every year the ladies go to high tea with Gigi. We have tried almost every place in Dallas that serves tea. This year we went to the Cresent. Ella came with us this year, she was the honored guest because it was her first time. We missed Stacey though! We could have used her memory, while there we tried to remember all the places we had been. Gigi remembered the most I think.

Enjoying time with just the ladies

glass tea pots

Ella ordered a blooming tea, a flower came in a little pod and then it slowly opened in the water

Ella and Oma

I like to try to take the pictures myself

Dessert is always yummy

Nicole took a cute picture of the four generations from Gigi to Ella so I thought I would take a Three Generations pic.

We took pictures in front of a huge white tree in the lobby

We usually take a picture every year I found this one from years ago. One of our favorites was when Lady Primrose was still open.

(Gigi remembered this year, we met the guys afterwards and went ice skateing at the Galleria)

Afterward we took a stroll to look in the fancy expensive shops

Please excuse me while I chase a small rabbit trail:
In February Will and I will have been married for 5 years. Yea! They have a bridal salon in the shops at the Cresent. This dress was so beautiful! I had to take a picture of it. Since I won't be wearing it I thought I would share. All the ladies together now.... Ooooooo, Ahhhhhh!

I must say that I am still in love with my dress, and since I won't be wearing it again either,
I thought I would share it too.
Ooooo Ahhhhh!

I loved shopping for my wedding dress. Sometime I feel like rounding up some friends and going to try some on. Sometime a girl just needs to put on a georgous dress! Ladies, am I right?

I have yet to actually pretend to be engaged again
but if anyone is interested in being a pretend bridesmaid give me a call.

I Love being a girl!

Thanks for the Tea Gigi, I had a wonderful time!

Liam's New Choo Train

After the Trains at the Northpark with Oma and the Trains at the Gaylord Texan, Liam has become a huge fan of trains. Yiayia gave Liam a Choo Choo Train set before she left for New Zealand. Liam LOVES it. Will and Liam set it up this Saturday. Liam was doing everything Will did. It is so cool how the Lord designs little boys look up to their daddy. Our God is so Good!

TaDa! fun colors

All Aboard!

Listen for Liam's train noises at the beginning.

The set came with 2 engines, One of them stopped rolling so Will having just spend some quality time with Mr. Fixit Brice Land decided he could fix the engine.
Will got out his tools and Liam wanted to fix his car too.

Daddy did it this way

The screw was tiny so Will needed something on his hand to help him grip the screw driver. He put a sock over his hand to see if it would help.

What is daddy doing now?

Liam tried the sock but he couldn't hold on to his screw driver.
In the end daddy fixed the engine and Liam played with his Choo Train all day!
Thanks so much Yiayia!

Happy New Year with the Lands

Brice and Jeni Land were driving back to Louisville from Houston and stopped in Dallas to spend New Years with us. It was the first time that we met sweet little Ellie. We went to Uncle Julio's to get some good ole Tex Mex, a treasure that is hard to find in Louisville, and then went to my parents house where there is room enough for two babies and 6 adults. We were so glad to see them it has been since Will's graduation in May. Here are some picture of our Happy New Year!

3...2...1... Happy New Year!

I had told Jeni once about something my college sweetmate had told me about kissing with pop rocks in your mouth. Jeni brought us a package and my parents were interested so they tried it out.

In the morning Ellie played with Oma's play mat

Liam didn't get much sleep that night, neither did Will or I. Don't we look well rested? ha

Will loved Ellie I think he is actually slowly stealing this toy from Ellie. But then he wanted to hold her hand.
