Will and I found out that one street over from our apartment has quite the Halloween tradition. Everyone on the street decorates their house like crazy. On Halloween night there were hundreds of people walking Hillcrest. Will and I waited for a while to see if we had trick or treaters (We didn't) then we walked over to see what all the fuss was over. It was funny yet sad at the same time. It is amazing how Halloween has become the holiday that it has. Satan wants us to think that it is no big deal, but it is. Some of this houses were cute (the great pumpkin charlie brown, and a Christmas house) but most really were celebrating death, demons and such. I have never seen anything like this. Take a look at our Halloween this year...
Our candy basket, I ended up eating most of it cause I didn't get to pass any of it out.
Texas Chili was the perfect warm and cozy dinner, thanks to the Scotts.
YUM, YUM
Will's Scary pumpkin, we called him scar face because a squirrel kept eating his face.
Gobs of people on Hillcrest
We didn't have costumes so no candy but no worries I had a whole basket at home
Dante's disco inferno, people were actually dancing on the porch
Drunk Elvis, he kept kicking, while he danced, one move over and over
Cute house
Skeleton Circus
Will with some scary guy
This was the street that had a tornado touch down a few weeks ago. This house actually had a tree fall on their porch. No one was hurt, thank the Lord.
People everywhere
Jenny and father time. This house had Christmas decorations up.
