The Blog is back! The perfect Christmas tree.

So, it has been way too long. I am sorry that I haven't blogged in a while. Let me attempt to catch you up on our life. Lots has changed!
Even though Will and I went home for Christmas we did buy a Christmas tree. We have a cool story about how the Lord provides even for the little things. We love the smell and the look of a real tree so we really wanted to find one,, but most of them cost way too much. Before we went out looking we decided that the most we would spend for a tree would be $30.
We first ventured to Lowe's thinking that they would have the least expensive. They had trees that were shorter than me for a little over our $30 budget. None that we felt were really worth the money. Next we tried Wal-mart. We had seen trees there last year and thought it surely would be the most reasonable. Well the selection in most Louisville stores is slim pickin's when you are used to Dallas, but No live trees at Wal-mart was a little ridiculous. We couldn't find a single tree that was real. So by the time we went back to Lowe's it was closed.
Discouraged we set out the next night for a real tree stand. Will actually prayed that we would find the perfect tree. The first tree we saw was about 5-6 feet tall and had just been reduced to, get this, $30 exactly. The next one we saw was easily 6-7 and had also been reduced to $30. We asked the worker if it was true. He double checked for us and then said it was. We said "We'll take it!" We trimmed and decorated and the longer the tree sat the larger around it became. We loved it. Will was sad to see it go. Here are some pictures of the perfect Christmas tree!

Danke! We miss you and continue to pray for you and the work you are doing in Germany.
